What is Acupressure Massage?
Acupressure massage is a gentle type of massage that forms part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
How does it work?
Acupressure massage works upon the acupuncture meridian system and provides effective and highly therapeutic relief from stress and muscular and skeletal problems.
What conditions does it treat?
Muscular tension, joint pain, osteo-arthritic pain and restriction, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, stress, depressive symptoms. It can also be used for relaxation and general wellbeing.
What to expect during a treatment
Acupressure massage is a very relaxing and soothing treatment that is applied to the legs, back, neck shoulders and wrists. Gentle stretches will also provided both during and after treatments to maintain therapeutic benefits. Treatments can last between 45 to 90 minutes depending on your needs.
