My practice philosophy is to treat my clients as fast and efficiently as possible and thereby assist them to come back to their usual self as soon as possible. When doing so I apply an evidence-based, pragmatic approach.
I have worked more than 15 years at the University Hospital of Lund (Sweden) in various positions (including senior management). For the last 8 years I have been a substantive consultant within the South Essex Partnership Foundation University Trust.
I treat all forms of adult mental illness, however have a special intrest in anxiety disorders, mood disorders, post-traumatic disorders, substance misuse, work related stress, transcultural psychiatry as well as psychosexual disorders.
I provide medical reports in criminal and civil matters (more than 400 reports written) and serve as an expert witness. I am a member of the Expert Witness Institute.
I speak and am able to work in English, German, Swedish (Danish, Norwegian).
