| Belinda
Humphries (MSc/Dip Integrative Psychotherapy, BA Hons/Dip Person Centred
Counselling, Cert. Supervision, PGCE) is a UKCP and BACP Registered
psychotherapist and counsellor. She has private practices in Weybridge,
Surrey and in Central London at the Harley Street Therapy Centre.
Belinda has been working in a variety of counselling and psychotherapy
settings since 1998 and her experience includes: bereavement therapy
(she trained as a CRUSE counsellor), youth counselling, working
in the NHS in a GP Surgery, general counselling/ psychotherapy with
a low-cost service and private practice. Her particular areas of
interest are family and relationship issues, work related difficulties,
neonatal bereavement, chronic trauma, eating problems and personal
development.
Belinda works within a Humanistic Integrative framework. She believes
that the therapy relationship provides a rich environment in which
the individual can explore their current situation and find the
optimal blend of support and challenge to facilitate them in making
changes and working towards their goals.
In addition to her clinical practice Belinda has been teaching
Lifeskills, Counselling and Counselling Skills for the last 5 years.
She is part of a team overseeing clinical practice for a counselling
charity and also works as a clinical supervisor of students and
qualified practitioners.
